My Church

My home church is First Baptist Church of Altus, Oklahoma. My wife Debbie and I want to express our love and gratitude to our Pastor, Dr. Jeff Moore for all his encouragement, moral support, prayers and the leadership he has brought to our church. We have grown to appreciate his sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry for many generations.

We also want to extend our sincerest heartfelt love to the church staff and the members of our church family for their overwhelming love for us and our Lord Jesus. May we continue to strive for excellence in our walk with Christ and one another. May His kingdom be furthered and may His glory reign forever.

Sunday School

My Sunday School Class is a large class at FBC Altus. The class teacher and director are John and Leslie Lingle. My wife Debbie and I consider John and Leslie to be the dearest of friends. Debbie and I are involved in outreach and class preparation. On any given Sunday our attendance fluctuates between 100 to sometimes about 130 members. We have a great team or core of leaders that are faithful in keeping things running smoothly. The growth of our class is a result of prayer, powerful Bible teaching, and good leadership. We rely on the Holy Spirit to not only teach the class but also to transform us into the image of Christ. Our class is a class open to people of all ages. We also transport Department of Correction female residents to class where they will be loved and taught sound biblical doctrine. We are very active in outreach and evangelism in our community and in missions around the world. We invite you to come be a part of what God is doing in our Sunday School and may the Lord Jesus be high and lifted up.
